Mornings With Jesus
The MWJ program is designed to provide activities that are age as well as individually appropriate for children ages 18 months through Pre-K (4/5 years). All classrooms have low student - teacher ratios.
Using a theme based curriculum We balance religion with academics to provide physical, emotional, social, and spiritual development opportunities.
Being a Catholic ministry, MWJ observes Catholic Christian celebrations and use of religious symbolism to teach of God's love.
Some of the age appropriate activities we provide for the children to learn through discovery and exploration include dramatic play, music, story time, science, games, art, outdoor play, number concepts, pre-reading, pre-math, and sensory play.
MWJ has been licensed by the Department of Family and Protective Services since August 2006.
School Year The program is in session mid-August to mid-May (We observe most AISD, Austin Independent School District, Holidays and school closures.)
School Days Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday & Thursday (see enrollment Information for more details)
Each day starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00p.m. (see parent handbook for early release days)conduct "Chapel" time, Spanish lessons, and play through creative movement.
Snack and Lunch A small healthy snack, provided by class parents, is served each morning. Children bring their own lunch to school.
